Understanding the report
What is the InsideHunt Growth Intelligence Report?
The InsideHunt Growth Intelligence Report is a fully customised business and marketing strategy report built for founders, CEOs and leadership teams. It covers market research, competitor analysis, positioning and brand assessment, growth strategy, campaign direction and a sequenced execution roadmap, so your next decisions rest on evidence rather than instinct.
Who is the report for?
It is built for whoever carries the decision. Founders, business owners, CEOs, managing directors, CMOs, marketing heads, strategy leads and boards. It fits organisations at any stage, from a startup deciding where to place its first serious budget to an established business rethinking its positioning after years in market.
What does the InsideHunt report actually contain?
A written strategic mandate: the diagnosis and the reasoning behind it, market and competitor intelligence, positioning and brand assessment, prioritised growth opportunities, campaign and channel direction, and a sequenced roadmap with an order of operations your team can begin on Monday without translating anything.
Is the report customised to my business and industry?
Yes. Every report is built from scratch against your inputs, your category, your competitors and your objectives. No templates, no recycled frameworks, no generic industry commentary. Two businesses in the same sector receive materially different reports, because they are almost never solving the same problem.
What industries does InsideHunt work with?
The desk works across D2C, e-commerce, B2B SaaS, retail, hospitality, professional services, manufacturing and traditional family-run businesses modernising for the first time. Growth logic travels across categories. What changes is the benchmark set and the market context, and both are rebuilt for every engagement.
My business is small. Is this relevant for me?
Yes, and often more so. A smaller business feels a misallocated quarter far more sharply than a large one. InsideHunt exists precisely because clear strategic direction has historically been reserved for organisations that could afford it, and that restriction never had anything to do with who needed it.
How it compares
How is this different from a marketing audit?
An audit tells you how your marketing performed. The InsideHunt report tells you what to do next. Audits look backwards at channel numbers. The desk reads the business whole, including positioning, category context, competitors and commercial structure, then returns a boardroom-level plan instead of a list of observations.
How is InsideHunt different from a consultancy?
The analytical standard is the same. The timeline, the access and the cost are not. Conventional engagements run for months and are priced for a few hundred organisations worldwide. InsideHunt applies comparable rigour in days, to any business willing to think seriously about its growth.
How is InsideHunt different from a marketing agency?
Agencies earn from the budget they manage, which quietly shapes what they recommend. InsideHunt runs no campaigns and buys no media, so nothing in the report is protecting anyone's revenue. The diagnosis is the entire product. That is precisely what makes it worth trusting.
What if I already have a marketing team or agency?
Most clients do. The report is built to make them sharper, not to replace them. It gives your team an independent read on what to prioritise and what to stop, and it gives your agency a brief grounded in strategy rather than preference. Independent diagnosis, your chosen execution.
Why not ask ChatGPT directly?
A general assistant offers several reasonable options. We give you one ranked recommendation, built on your own numbers, benchmarked to your category and tested for contradiction, with a person accountable for it.
Why not an agency or a freelance consultant?
An agency earns from the budget it manages, which shapes what it recommends. We run no campaigns and buy no media, so the diagnosis carries no commercial bias, and every answer passes through the same method.
Is this produced by AI?
Our systems do the heavy analysis, which is how we deliver in hours rather than months. Every piece of work is then read, challenged and consulted on by a human analyst before it leaves us.
How the desk works
What does consulted by a human analyst mean?
Our systems gather and analyse evidence at a scale no individual could. A human analyst then reads the work, challenges it, corrects it where needed and stands behind the conclusions before anything reaches you.
What is Three-Lens triangulation?
Every conclusion is tested through three lenses. Client truth is what your data says. Corpus truth is what comparable businesses and published research say. Market truth is what is happening in your category now. A finding that holds in all three is one you can act on.
How do you decide what matters most?
Every finding passes through MADA: materiality, actionability, defensibility and asymmetry. Is it large enough to matter, can your team act on it, will it survive challenge, and is the upside larger than the risk? What fails stays in the appendix, so recommendations are few and ranked.
What is the contradiction check?
Leadership teams carry beliefs about their business: which channel works, who the customer is, why sales dipped. The contradiction check sets those beliefs beside the evidence and reports every point where they disagree. The costliest mistakes come from confident assumptions nobody has tested.
What is the InsideHunt growth score?
A single score from 0 to 100 that summarises growth health across six axes, built from your own numbers and benchmarked against comparable businesses. Its movement matters more than its level, which is why deeper work re-scores at 90 days.
What is STP, and why does it matter to growth?
STP stands for segmentation, targeting and positioning. Segmentation divides a market into groups that buy for different reasons. Targeting decides which groups to serve first. Positioning is the place the brand earns in those buyers' minds against the alternatives. Most growth problems trace back to one of the three, and we test all three against your own customers and market.
What is brand positioning, and how do you assess ours?
Positioning is the specific reason a buyer chooses you over the next option. We read how you describe yourself, how customers describe you, and how rivals describe themselves. Where those views disagree there is a gap worth closing. You receive a position you can defend and the evidence behind it.
What does a competition check involve?
Each named rival is studied across pricing, product range, advertising, distribution, hiring and what their customers say. That shows where each is strong, where it is exposed and what it is likely to do next. Deeper work war-games those moves against your plan. Everything comes from public signals and lawful sources.
Why do Meta, Google and Shopify report different numbers?
Each platform claims any sale it touched, so one order can be counted two or three times. What matters is incremental return: revenue that would not exist without the spend. We reconcile platform claims with your store data so finance approves budget on numbers that agree.
Commissioning and delivery
Where should we begin?
If the decision concerns the whole business, begin with The Field Report. If it sits in one function, choose the matching practice study. If you are unsure, play the nine questions above, or run a live check first.
What happens after we commission?
Within one working day you receive a short intake and a secure data checklist. The clock starts when your inputs arrive, and the answer reaches you by email and WhatsApp.
How long does the InsideHunt report take?
Days, not weeks. Once your input form arrives, the desk works through diagnosis, distillation and review, then the finished report is delivered to your inbox. A conventional engagement takes months to reach the same point, which is usually several decisions too late.
How long does each piece of work take?
Every report and practice study runs on one of three clocks: 72, 144 or 216 hours from the moment your inputs arrive. Boardroom and investor engagements run in weeks and are agreed in the statement of work.
Do I get to speak to someone about the report?
Yes. Where the decision warrants it, the report is followed by a personal strategic consultation with the desk, to walk through the findings, pressure-test your thinking and agree what happens first. The report is the substance. The conversation is where it becomes a plan.
What happens in a War Room session?
A 45 minute video session with the analyst who worked on your answer. You pressure-test the recommendations, explore alternatives and agree the first moves with your team in the room. It is included with The Desk and every 216 hour review.
Who helps me implement the recommendations?
Your own team can, and the roadmap is written so they can start without us. Where you need specialist hands, InsideHunt maintains a global network of vetted execution partners across creative, media, brand and technology. We brief them ourselves, so nothing is lost between the finding and the work.
How is the Monthly Pulse different from a report?
A report answers a decision at a moment in time. The Monthly Pulse keeps watch after that moment, with a written read on your category, your rivals and your position every month, and quarterly refreshes on the higher plans.
What is a combination privilege?
Answers that are commissioned together share evidence, so combining them costs us less. When two different pieces of work sit in your dossier, three per cent comes off; with three or more, five per cent. It applies automatically at checkout.
Price, payment and your data
Why should I invest in a strategy report now?
Because a wrong direction compounds quietly. Every quarter spent on misaligned positioning, the wrong channel or an unclear proposition is a quarter your competitors spend correctly. Clarity before spend has always been cheaper than clarity after it, and the market rewards whoever sees it first.
How is payment handled, and which fees apply to us?
Pay online through Razorpay, or by bank transfer or UPI against a GST invoice. Businesses billed in India see fees in rupees with GST at 18%. Businesses billed outside India see international fees in US dollars, without GST.
Is my business information kept confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is held in confidence, used solely to build your report, and never disclosed to another client, partner or third party. Where your engagement informs the desk's benchmark context over time, it is anonymised and aggregated, never attributed.
How is our information protected?
Everything you share is used only for your work and is never disclosed to another client. We operate under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and any benchmark use is anonymised and never attributed.
